A bit about me.... history of Steph

Long Long ago..... about 30 years ago I was born to plain ordinary God loving parents on the the 29th of December 1983 in a town called Ceres. I'm the last born in the family. youngest of 4 children, believe me if I tell you, it has its pros and cons! my oldest brother Danny is 47 and live with his wife Marisa in the northern Cape, they have a son Kurt who is 19years old. then there is my 2nd brother Pieter 36 , he and he's wife Amanda live in Lanseria Gauteng. my sister Hannelie 35 and her husband live in Nelspruit, they have a 10 year old son called Arthur..... lets rewind a bit
my childhood years were pretty awesome at times, we lived in this beautiful western cape town called Ceres, back in the day, we still rode our bike, play in the parks and autumn time we played in the wonderful red leaves. it were great days. when i was 11 we moved to Wellington.... were a bit sad leaving all my friends behind, but we moved to this big huge 4 bedroom house.... at last i thought, we all have a bedroom to ourselves... when i was 13 my dad took a contract in Port Elizabeth, it was for 8 months, so ja we moved around alot. till this the i'm very much a drifter. in September 1997 we moved to the Lowveld, much to my dismay!   but it all work out in the end. In 1998 I begin boarding school in Belfast, let me tell you, it were the best of times and the worse of times, i was there 1998 & 1999 Gr8& 9. every weekend it was a grueling 2hour bus ride home.  I was quite popular in school, the little over achiever, always got A's ect ect.  begining of 2000 we moved to Ballitoville where my dad, would take up a big job, and we were promised a huge big house to stay in, only later to realise it was all one big scam.  so we moved back to the Lowveld once more. we went to stay in Malelane/ Hectorspruit.
very nice area..... just very boring and dead.... we lived there for nearly 5years, then came to Nelspruit.  In 2005 we lost my Dad,  he died in his sleep  due to stroke.  it were a very difficult time for me. for all of us.
but we get trough it in one piece.  2005 - 2012 I rented a room at my sister's place, only later i decided to search for better career prospects elsewhere, and then I went to Johannesburg. I stay there for 6 months a then came back again. in January 2013 I went to Johannesburg again, this time, things were coming around for me, it took a bit of time, but I got there. End of March 2013 I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour.  and I could not be any happier. I'm now working for a wonderful organisation called Petra Institute for children ministries in White River  And I'm very very Happy.  The Lord does answer prayers, sometimes it just takes a little time, Cause He knows exactly what to give you, even before you ask.
